Welcome to our Autumn and Winter Wedding page. No matter what the weather you can be sure that with your family and friends you will receive a warm welcome at The Old Vicarage at Elkesley.

Many Brides are now opting for what has previously been referred to as 'Out of Season' weddings. There are many reasons for this, not least of which is that they often have a wider choice of available dates for their chosen venue. Winter weddings may also appeal to those on a tighter budget or those who love the autumn colours or the surreal affect of a snow scape.

Whether it be the Golden Glow of the of the rich autumn colours in October and November or for any fortunate enough to time their wedding to coincide with the snow, a warm welcome is guaranteed within the Osbourne suite with a traditional log fire blazing in the period fireplace. A perfect setting for a civil wedding with seating for 60 people and the expansive grounds for a photoshoot afterwards. The river Poulter does not flood and there are no steep and slippery hills to trap your guests in snow and ice.

The village hall with its modern facilities makes an ideal alternative to the summer marquee; it is affordable and comes complete with a licensed bar should you desire one. After all a wedding without a little warming cheer may look a little stark or lacking to some of your guests.

A fairy tale setting for a magical wedding. Autumn or Winter take the plunge, there can hardly be many more attractive venues within a very long drive of Elkesley and with a service described as excellent by many you can be assured that no effort will be spared to make your winter wedding a glorious affair.
